Talks

We can now offer a selection of talks to groups and societies.

These talks last about 45 minutes to 1 hour, and usually consist of a series of photos with a bit of chat.

We provide our own equipment in the form of a projector and screen.

We will also bring a selection of plants grown on the nursery to sell should anybody like to buy some.

The talks we offer at the moment are :

1. Southern Hemisphere Plants - A series of sides showing some of our favourite plants. Most of which we grow or would like to try growing on the nursery.

2. Restios - An introduction to this amazing family of plants from germination to planting postion. The Do's and Don'ts for successful growing.

3. Our First Chelsea Flower Show - An amusing account of the year leading up to and including the show. This is shown with a great series of photos of the build up to our first Chelsea Gold

Walks

We now offer Nursery visits for groups.

This ususally consists of a tour of the nursery, giving an insight to the day to day goings on in the nursery.

The tour starts in the propagation house and ends in the display tunnel, showing the process from seed to the show plants we use at all the flower shows.

The group will be able to purchase plants at the end of the visit.

The visits usually last 2 hours.

We charge per head for the visits.
